Layne Performance is dedicated to serving the Gainesville community by providing a world-class training experience for individuals, groups, athletes, and coaches. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to train athletes, to improve the health and function of older individuals, and to educate area coaches and trainers.
Your internship will be guided by University of Florida and HHP/APK alumnus Dr. Andrew Layne. You will be asked to come ready to learn, to work independently, and to work hard for the Gainesville community.
Interns are expected to complete a minimum of 520 total hours. Distribution of
hours worked should be agreed upon by the intern and supervisor, and based on
the requirements of the activities and projects assigned.
For the Fall and Spring semesters, the internship officially commences on the first
day of classes at the University of Florida and will end on the Friday after the last
day of classes. Fall and Spring interns are expected to participate in internship
duties/responsibilities for 35-40 hours each week for a minimum of 520 total

C interns are expected to work 40 hours each week, for a minimum of 520 total
